Moonshine Process

Heating

The stone furnace beneath the still is brought up to about 172 degrees Fahrenheit (78 C).

Evaporation

The alcohol evaporates. The alcohol steam is forced through the cap arm.

Re-evaporation

Re-evaporation the alcohol, filtering out the mash.

Filtering

Filtering alcohol removes off flavors and it smoothes out the overall taste and flavor.

Flavoring

Adding a commercial type of flavor such as an essence, or soaking fruit in the spirit.

Hand crafted corn liquer made in the heart of Mississippi. Our Distillery was founded in 1832 and our secret traditional recipes have been passed down from many generations. Since then our team has grown to more than 20 employees. We produce a true batch handcrafted spirit that any moonshiner would drink himself – it’s that good! Moonshine, white lightning, mountain dew, hooch, and white whiskey are terms used to describe high-proof distilled spirits, generally produced illicitly.
